so i didn't get in. got 2 out of 3 'yes' votes from the judges. as expected.

beginning to realise the truth behind the statement "if you think you can't, you can't. if you think you can, you can." maybe i was thinking i can't get in anyway, so the effort was kinda lacking. coupled with a sudden bout of nerves just before i entered the room, and you don't need einstein to calculate out the result. need to practise more and improve more!

and saw a lot of pros at the audition ground. like all the past and present campus superstars =P. think zhiyang is going for it too. if he does, he most probably is gonna get into top 3. like, duh? don't think many people are pro-er than him in sg now. so jiayou and pawn all the taiwanese when you get there =)

very moody today. not too sure why. so much so that i didn't even speak a word during the entire 2hr driving lesson, and the instructor thought i had a sore throat. LOL.

a very very old song...so much so my mum knows this...original singer is theresa theng...but the version i have is soda lime's newly arranged band plus vocal live performance...青峰's vocals suit this song very well...midway through the song he cries because it was mother's day and he felt some sadness for _____?LOL. i thought it was very good. was reminded by daryl that this song existed and was inspired to find it.=)

and it has really felt like yesterday that i reported at the 23rd storey of the iras building on 11/11/08.

how much i have grown. more mentally, intellectually, and EQ-wise. how to talk tactfully. how to advise tp without making them look like complete idiots. how to withstand stress. how to concentrate even when i'm feeling down. how to distract myself with work when things aren't falling into place the way you want them to. how to feel happy again. how to kick yourself out of the inevitable emo period. important lessons that i'll take with me when i finally leave this 27 storey building.

is there anything i'll change if i had hermione's time turner?

i've forged many new friendships along this 8 month long journey, none more valuable and significant than with the Big Guy (who turns 25 VERY SOON=D) and sister.(hey buddy, knew you like 2 yrs back, so not considered new liao. hehe=D)

to the Big Guy: those first few months of slogging together in ptd were arduous, but fun especially when the 3 of us (including buddy) crapped around during work and got scolded for it. LOL. thanks for all the advice as well! don't fret over us not being around anymore; true friendship stays in the heart.=)

to sis: 尽在不言中, some things can be left unsaid. i'm psychic, remember? =P suffice to know that i'll be just a phone-call away if you ever need help =)

a random note of advice: insecurities can becoming crippling. don't let your insecurities cloud your judgement and weaken your resolve on certain issues. if you see a problem, solve it. procrastination isn't going to help. you know you are good enough. you just don't have the confidence and determination to see it through. failing once doesn't mean you are gonna fail forever. buck up, banish all those niggling doubts and prove your worth to everyone that matter to you.

Went kaixiang's house in tpy yest to do some recording=) which was very fun! he's pro at it la. spent like 3-4 hrs there with minchao trying to get the best vocal sound using the various effects. of course, the raw vocals must first be good to produce the effect. hopefully mine came out well=D

shall not talk about work anymore since everyone knows that work is zzz. suffice to say i hit my 14-15th (lost count!) triple digit call count in my whole time at iras.=X

anyway, tank's new album 第三回合 rocks my socks! quite a few nice songs in there. his two year hiatus from the album industry is well worth it if he can produce this kind of music!=D

this is the second Tank song i've posted on my blog alrdy. a testiment to his song-writing skills =P the lyrics are very simplistic and sounds like what actually happens in everyday life. but love comes about from everyday life isn't it? it's the smallest things, the most random occurences, the most minute and mundane details, that define love.

And that's what makes this song sound so real.=)
